What’s Today?

It’s Tuesday already and I’m all confused again. That darned holiday thing! This is the week when no one knows what day it is, but I’m here to remind you, it’s Tuesday. I am slowly pulling things back together after some unseasonably cold weather followed by Christmas. I also fell down the Civ 6 rabbit hole and have been playing madly. I even avoided writing for a whole day due to playing.

I might finally becoming out of that burrow as well. At least I’m writing. I need 7,000 more words by the end of the year to hit my stretch goal for words. That will put me at roughly 550,000 words for the year. I planned to write only 500,000 words as spring is my best writing time and I back surgery last January and didn’t know how I’d feel and when I’d be back writing.

Not a lot of publishing this year, but plenty of writing and several books that are in the pipeline for coming out later in the year. I’ll be doing a Kickstarter for the three of them and then releasing them after that. I also have another collection of short stories to get published here soon. Holiday shorts, again. This time crime, rather than romance. I want those done so I can do print books and sell them this summer. I guess holiday stories do well when authors hand sell them.
