So, I’m in the Eldritch Horror Storybundle! It’s curated by Kevin J. Anderson.

Okay, I know you think I don’t write horror but I have. This particular book, Shadows of Solstice is part of my Afternoon Gothic series is a gothic novel (well duh?) about a town where things start going terribly wrong, just before the holidays.

The idea came from a short story call that I got about weird happenings around holidays. I knew it was too long for a short story, so I wrote a short (which got rejected and rightly so–it was kind of all over the place) and then got to work on this book. This was one of those books that wrote itself and when I got to the ending, I was quite pleased with it.

There are other Eldritch horrors in here, including some Lovecraft for those who like the classics, some of Robert E. Howard’s Cthulhu stories. Jonathan Maberry fans will find a Joe Ledger novel in the bundle as well.

If you like gothic horror, then I suggest you check this out!
