Snow Day

Yesterday we had snow. It started earlier than predicted and far earlier than expected and we got more snow per hour than predicted as well. On Tuesday it was looking like we’d maybe get an inch or two. We have six.

I’m not complaining. I love snow. And, as a writer, I work from home.

However, yesterday was a mess around here. Most people hadn’t expected the snow so soon and there were multiple accidents on most of our major highways. No one stuck overnight, so far as I’ve heard, but lots of folks had a very unpleasant day. I was lucky enough that my acupuncture appointment in the morning was done before things got really bad but even then they were bad enough coming home.
