I can’t believe we’re through Labor Day already.
I’ve got a busier month planned that will likely run into the first part of October. In October, I’ll be heading off to Lincoln City again, but I’m getting ahead of myself.
I hope to get at least one more short story self-published. It was one I wrote for an anthology that got cancelled. It was accepted. It’s a pure fantasy story and it’s fun. For some reason, I like fun fantasy stories.
I need to write another short story to keep up on my goal of one short story a month to send out to magazines. I have another short to finish editing and make a cover for because it will be in a bundle for the holidays. I found another short that I wrote last month that I think has potential so I’ll be working on that and getting it out to the magazines as well. One day, I’ll have news about a professional level sale that doesn’t involve Fiction River! I want to branch out, after all.
As for longer fiction, I’ve ordered proofs of the latest Whisper book and I’ll get my first reader on that. I also need to work on another novel length tale. I’m debating between another story in my fun fantasy world or working on the second book in my dark urban fantasy tale. I’ll let you know which won at the end of the month.
