More new covers

So here I am, changing things up again with the Whisper series. The last book covers looked a little flat, particularly compared to the ones in the same general genre. I have a few more changes I am going to consider on it before putting them up but so far I think I’m onto something.

I’ve already changed out the Whisper series begins (books 1 to 4) for this experiment, so we’ll see what happens. I’m hoping that at the very least they are more eye catching as in the thumbnail the old ones weren’t nearly as eye catching.

The reason this didn’t happen sooner? I use Photoshop elements and it took me forever to figure out how to incorporate the old “lighting effects” into the newer version. I had it on my old system but couldn’t get to work on this system but finally got it there so now I have lighting effects again, which I love. Yeah.

So, now, back to writing on that book I started last week. I have a whopping 4,000 words after writing more than 15,000 last week. On Friday I realized I was poking along, not writing the book I wanted to be writing so I scrapped everything and started again. Hopefully this one will be better and so far I think I’ve got a better sense of action.
