Memorial Day

It’s Memorial Day here in the states and at home, it’s going to be hot. I’m sure the people who have the day off love this.

As I work when I can which is pretty much all the time, it’s not really a day off for me. We just got back from vacation, where I really didn’t work, so I’ll be sitting at my desk, with the sun at my back.

Honestly, I’m a winter girl. Give me a chilly day with plenty of snow, some dark clouds and a few storms and I’m really happy. Of course, I do appreciate the time to enjoy a white sandy beach now and again but I think that if I had to do that all the time, I’d be bored. Given that my husband really likes to swim, the biggest reason to live somewhere like that is that it would give him something to do outside so I could work inside.
