My neighbors already have their Christmas decorations up. It’s earlier than I normally would. It seems to be that people start putting things up the weekend before Thanksgiving around here. I feel like that’s just a little too early. I hadn’t even taken in my Halloween decorations, which stay out until Thanksgiving, at least.

The people on the other side still have their pumpkins out. I have a mix of things as I get started on the season. I love the decorations but hate the amount of work it takes. We purged a lot of old ornaments that meant nothing to us and were getting old and ragged, too, so there’s a pile of stuff to toss and donate.
