As a fat woman, I spend time on travel sites for fat folks. One of the clothing places many like is Shein, which has a special curve plus area. It doesn’t go up huge sizes–most sizes say 20 as their largest but some of my size 18s were closer to a size 20, so it’s something to really watch in terms of measurements. I expect that most outfits could be worn by women that say their size is 22/24.
They have cheap clothing and I was expecting to get cheap quality. Most of what I purchased appears, at first glance, to be reasonably well-made, certainly better than I was expecting. And it all fit. If anything a couple of pieces were (as I said) a bit large. One was a sweatshirt, so who doesn’t love a large sweatshirt?!
I got a crushed velvet floor length gown for $40. It’s a bit too long so I’ll be looking at the best way to get that shortened about two inches (yeah, definitely too long as I wear flats), but it’s incredibly comfortable and as my husband and I have a cruise coming up in May, the bright color and the fact that it’s only got spaghetti straps should be fine for the cruise. I have another dress that I love as well but this one is more comfortable.
