Review: I’m Judging You

I got Luvvie Ajayi’s book I’m Judging You when it was on sale on Amazon.

I’d heard of Luvvie and started following Awesomely Luvvie on Facebook shortly after one of the far too many shootings of young Black men living. I heard about when she published the book and I wanted to read it but it was one of those things that waited for a bit and I was rewarded.

I’m Judging You is laugh out loud funny about things that you don’t expect to be funny. Ajayi makes painful social commentary something I could laugh at. Sometimes, yes, it is funny ha ha but it’s also funny sad, sarcastic, and ironic. It will make you think.

To me that’s the most important thing. That a book like this make me think. There are far too many great insights and moments in this to share. Just go get the book. Read it. You’ll be glad you did.
