The challenge of Monday after a holiday is getting back into the swing of things. I actually let myself not write more than a few hundred words for four days, which is a lifetime for me! But now I have to get back into it and it’s taking some thought adjustment.
I am trying to decide why this particular book feels so difficult. I really wanted to write it but I needed that time off. Perhaps because I know it’s a big story and it feels important. Or not. Maybe I’ll let myself set it aside and move on to another book that I want to write in my Familiar Cafe universe.
