I can’t believe August is flying by like it is. My little cat, Ravioli is growing as quickly as the month is flying by. Yesterday, it seems, it was barely the first.
As I lived most of my life on the west coast, the fact that it’s sort of cooling down a little in August is hard to get used to. August and sometimes in Southern California, early September, were often the hottest time of the year. Here, it seems July takes the prize. It’s fine with me. I prefer cooler weather.
So now I can sit outside and enjoy the weather, listen to the cicadas, the birds, and the squirrels that hang around near our house. I can also read outside, which is a pleasure.
