Learning

While I never expected to be a thriller humor writer, nor do I now expect to start writing tons in that genre, I found the workshop extremely good for me. It was a stretch to the areas of writing I feel comfortable in. It force me to write things I’d never consider writing.

I struggled with the idea that I had to write a short story with big ideas. I’m still not sure I can do that, but I was able to write thrilling, action mysteries with humor that kept the teacher of the class reading. Were they thriller stories, no, but they were nothing to be ashamed of.

I am thinking about the fact that now people could chose to add on a novella to write as thriller humor and I’m wondering if I can push myself to write a thrilling novella with a bit of humor (or not). We’ll see.
