Interesting Marketing

We had snow this past week. Quite a lot for our area. It melted, of course, by Sunday, when the rain came. There are still piles of it where the plows pushed snow and where shoveling had created piles.

Yesterday, Amazon sent me a letter about specials on snow removal items. I thought it was interesting but I guess if they had my zip code and they knew what the weather was, they could then send me information that might be useful to me. I mean, granted the snow was gone but there might be more and chances were I’d be thinking about what I didn’t have after the last snow and what I might want for the future.

If only I could somehow do that for books!
