Ice Storm

If I’m blogging I have power. Which was the big worry here. And it seems as if we got less ice than expected. Our temps hovered around freezing meaning the freezing rain came down as a mix most of the evening and then turned to a snow/sleet/rain mix later in the evening. We have a light dusting of snow right now and it’s all snow for the moment this morning.

It’s expected to stay that way until about noon. Many offices are closed for the morning or for the day but we definitely didn’t have the major disaster the forecast was predicting. Which, of course, is a good thing.
