Getting Ready for Bouchercon

So I’m getting excited to be leaving for Bouchercon up in Minneapolis. I’ll be learning a lot about writing mysteries. I’ve printed out the schedule and most hours I have two to four things I want to go listen to so as time goes on, I’ll be figuring out who it is I want to listen to rather than just what.

I’m excited that Jo Nesbo is one of the authors. I also like William Kent Krueger and I’m looking forward to hearing him talk. I love mysteries set in moody places and Nesbo writes Scandinavian mysteries and Krueger writes a series set in the Northwoods of Minnesota.

Further, a little bit of a thrill is when you register they ask if you are a writer. And my name was on the list of writers attending! With plenty of folks I don’t know but also some names I recognize!
