Friday Thoughts

Overall it’s not been a bad week. Quieter than many weeks recently when it seemed like there was always something to go running around for, whether for me, or the household (groceries), the car, the cats, you name it. And suddenly, my only two outings this week were for groceries and my acupuncture appointment, which is always welcome.

So it’s been a nice lazy week, where the writing was mostly editing and reading and the book was better than I expected. Probably another run through and I’ll send it off to my first reader/editor and then it will be ready to go. It’s in a new series so I might wait until I have at least two books to put up. We’ll see.

And now, I’m starting a rather epic sort of fantasy in a secondary world with a murdered ruler and plenty of action. I hope. We’ll see. And then the weekend when I can curl up and play a nice long gave of Civilization which I feel like I mentally need to do to escape even further than books can take me.
