End of January

January feels as if it’s been a long month. Today may be the 31st but it feels like the 50th or something. I know, old joke, right?

I’ve been busy writing a new story and got so involved I forgot to send out my newsletter yesterday. But that’s the fun part about writing. I’m not sure if it’s a dystopian story or just an urban fantasy. It has aspects of both. I’m sure I’ll figure it out by the end.

I love exploring writing that way, just letting the words flow and letting whatever story happens to come out out. Sometimes I don’t publish them because they aren’t ready to be published. If I publish them at all, they may require a redraft. I a couple of entire books I’ve written only to discover the story I wanted to write in the first place.

Maybe it’s a waste of words but that’s how my brain works. It almost requires that I type something out to figure out what I’m thinking.

How is everyone at the end of the month?
