Ever since coming back I feel like I always have something going on–and not in a good way. I’d rather talk about good things than bad but this week has been interesting.
First, over the weekend we had about 24 hours of a boil water order. Tuesday afternoon, Metronet was laying cable in our neighborhood and cut through our cable line. Which meant my husband had to scramble to figure out where he could work because our provider Kinetic, I think?, can’t get out until Thursday.
The fun part of the Thursday thing is that we’re supposed to have an ice storm. We don’t know if they’ll be out in the morning or afternoon or what so it’s possible we could be without cable until Monday. Which is annoying as heck.
Thank heavens the mobile hotspots seem to work!
