Back to Writing?

I doubt I have the ability or the stamina to write regularly yet this week. I will focus mostly on getting numbers together for taxes so those are ready to go towards the end of February to the accountant.

This week, I want to work on habits. Habits like writing on the blog through out the week, just to say I wrote something. I can’t say my life was exciting before surgery but I typically had plans for things. Now, I drift through the day, sleeping when I need to and walking around when I need to do that (at least 20 minutes last week. I’m working on half an hour a day this week).

I had ideas for a story prompt I was given but I just wasn’t quite able to get them out on paper. Words would be missed. Whole clauses that would make the thing make sense were missed. I gave up on that and have to set aside real writing for another week or so. Maybe, in addition to getting things together for taxes, I’ll work on a few covers or some omnibus editions as well. I’m probably still setting the bar too high on what I can do, but who knows? Maybe it’s not too high.
