And Now for Some Cats

For everyone who was following along while I whined about healthcare and went on and on about the issues brought up in the book I read, I thought I’d pause today and talk about the cat.

Because what’s more important than a cat?

Ham has scratched the heck out of my leg. The first night, he was sitting on my lap, and I had pajamas and an afghan over my legs, which he loves to sit on. He saw something that scared him–I suspect it was on the television and dug in and leaped, scratching me. The next night, we were sitting like that and Ichiro was next to me, near my feet and he fell off the edge.

Ham got scared again and pushed off in another place so now I have another nice long scratch on my leg.

Frustratingly, he just had his nails done!
