A New Project

I’m considering doing a short question and answer introduction to the stories I give away free when you sign up for my mailing list. If you haven’t done so, you can go here.

All three stories are Whisper stories, but not usually the Whisper that’s in the books. In Ghost Case, you meet Meg, but you don’t see Rain at all.  In Radioactive Magic, you go back and see what happened to Sean after he went to Alaska. And in Christmas Whispers, you meet Peter long before Whisper was Whisper.  I’d like to flesh out information on Whisper, answer questions that people might want to know about the mountain, Peter, Meg, Rain, or Zari A that haven’t been answered in the books.

No, I won’t tell you what Emma’s problem is or why she’s so horrible. And I won’t tell you what happens next. I can assure you that there are more Whisper novels coming. I have a first draft of ten (although not yet a title) and I hope to have that out next fall. That won’t discuss Emma’s problem at all but it will take you back to Whisper. I see this as an ongoing series and I have ideas for a life arc for Meg until she’s probably close to fifty. I don’t know if I’ll come up with enough mysteries to fill books until she’s fifty but suffice to say I’ll come to Whisper from time to time for a very long time.

As my writing grows and changes, there are times when it becomes difficult to write in the voices of Meg and Rain, so I haven’t kept up on the series the way I was. I hope that the new books that will be coming out before the next Whisper come out are as enjoyable as people found the books.
